Update on Sheffield Branch Trips 2012

Tours / Trips 2012/2013


a)  Scotland. Barony Castle Hotel, Peebles. This is a
     former Manor House. Monday 14th to Friday 18th
      May 2012.  The tour will include three excursions,
     including a day trip to Edinburgh. Included is Dinner,
     Bed & Breakfast.

     This tour is now full, however, we are starting a
     reserve list so please Contact Bev at Niagara to
     be on the list. Total cost: £185.00 pp

16th February 2012 - due to a cancellation there are
now two places on this trip to Scotland.

b)  Ypres, Belgium, Friday 7th to Monday 10th
     December 2012.  This highly recommended tour
     is by coach and channel crossing by Eurotunnel.
     The hotel is in the centre of Ypres.  There are
     now only eight vacancies (four doubles) for this
     tour. The full cost is £195.00 pp (£20.00 pp deposit)


c)  The National Memorial Arboretum. The ‘Cops’ day,
     especially for the Police Force, is on Sunday 10th
      June 2012. Cost of coach confirmed as £5.00 pp.
     A meal will be arranged later at which time full details,
     pick-up points and cost of meal will be circulated.


d)  The Thursford Christmas Spectacular. Monday 19th
       November 2012. Tickets now confirmed for this day.
      Travel arrangements will be similar to last year.The
      show is changed every year and well worth seeing. 
      Cost for Coach and show now confirmed at
      £38.00 pp.

We hope to arrange a trip, after the school holidays in
September 2012, on the North Yorkshire Moors Railway,
from Pickering to Whitby and return. Cost for coach &
train will be in the region of £22.00 pp. It is not intended
to arrange a meal.


Looking forward to 2013. We hope to arrange a five day
trip, Monday 13th to Friday 17th May, on the Jurassic
Coast area. (Dorset)  We have already looked at two
hotels and we will ensure we have a good deal arranged
for our members.
