My client is a leading UK-based designer and manufacturer of cutting edge technology systems for the global marketplace. The company provide a complete range of high-accuracy components including software, cameras and hardware as well as complete solutions.
The company also provides powerful, easy-to-use, mobile data solutions for remote searching of multiple types of databases to support business process improvement and enhancing front-line policing and other market sectors. The decision has been made to recruit a Business Development Manager to reinvigorate the market and capitalize on excellent reference sites that have been established in organisations. The business has a created a fresh approach and a new structure to increase the efficiency, effectiveness and profitability of customer engagement whilst also improving positive customer experience.
The Business Development Manager is responsible for a specific territory and will involve proactively networking, generating new business, opening new markets and assessing the feasibility of focusing on new clients, and sectors whilst continuing to work with existing clientele to assist in identifying and progressing new opportunities. The exact territory of this role is still to be confirmed and will be split between the existing Sales team into Police Service regions. There is also an opportunity for progression and promotion within the company further down the line for successful incumbent’s.
