Pre-retirement Courses
As police officers approach retirement the South Yorkshire Police make a pre-retirement course available, they are normally held at the Force Training Department, Niagara Conference & Leisure or some other similar venue.
SOUTH YORKSHIRE POLICE
Pre-Retirement Course.
The current course held over two days is normally hosted by PMAS or other financial organisations, features elements of retirement planning, health & lifestyle advice, in addition to general & specific financial issues.
An Executive Committee Member of NARPO, also provides an advisory and informational input which includes a brief history of the organisation & what it can currently offer those planning to retire within the next 18 months.
