Original 'Rick' Hardwick painting

Rick Hardwick was a well know Sheffield Detective who sadly died on
duty of a heart attack several years ago.

A talented artist (usually inspired by the need to pay a large gas bill
back in th 70's) he sold his paintings to art galleries in Sheffield,
friends and colleagues.

A member has kindly donated two of Rick's paintings to the Sports
Club, one an old fashioned police scene will be on display at Niagara
with a suitable inscription and the other, one of Rick's famous battle
scenes of the Guards in battle square formation, will be auctioned
off at the Sheffield Divisions Reunion with the proceeds going to the
Sheffield Children's Hospital.

Rick served with the colours for a number of years as a Grenadier
Guardsman.

be on display until the night of the auction.

first drink at the bar and a buffet and are on sale at Niagara
Reception - £5.00 each. There is also a free draw for a table
for four in the Falls Restaurant at Niagara for either Sunday
Lunch or at one of the popular Theme Nights.
