the 80th Anniversary Dinner - Thursday 9th October, 2008.
148 attended and a collection raised £413 for the
Palliative Care Unit at the Northern General Hospital, Sheffield.

	With a changing Association membership, age and gender profile ladies now have their own tables.
For the first time a seating plan was prepared and members could elect in advance seating arrangements. It seemed to be popular and work well!
	Former colleagues meet up for the first time in over 20 years.
At 92 Don Ford (left) was 12 years old when the Association was formed in 1928.
	Conversations continue none stop all night.
Even visits to the bar are interrupted to speak to some one not see for years - the faces are familiar, but some times the names escape you. Should members wear a name badge?
	Never one to miss a photo opportunity Wilf Hull gives a wave to the camera.  Good old Wilf always a sport!
