Frank 'Max' Moore, a retired Detective Sergeant from
Barnsley has died. He served at Barnsley for many years
both in the uniform and CID branches.
The funeral will be held at St. Pauls Church Monk Bretton,
Barnsley at 11am on Thursday 30th December 2010.
He will be buried at Darfield then will be refreshments
served at the 'Cross Keys' public house at Darfield.

I regret to inform you of the death of a Rotherham member, ex- Ins
Ron Harris 90yrs of Braithwell on 22nd November, 2010.

Retired Police Constable Alan Simms aged 85 years died in
the early hours of Tuesday 9th November 2010. Many will
remember Alan from his days in Doncaster Road Traffic and
also The Force Firearms Team.
His funeral will take place at 11.20am Monday 22nd November
2010 at Rosehill Crematorium Doncaster, Family flowers only
but there will be a plate for donations to
"The Police Dependant's Trust".
Ron Brooke it is with sadness that I have to report the
sad death after a long illness of Ret Ins. Ron Brooke who
died at the weekend.
The Funeral details are that Ron will be cremated at
Rosehill Crematorium. Cantley Doncaster at 12.40pm
Monday 8th November 2010. Family flowers only,
donations may be made at rear to "Samantha Dixon
Brain Tumour Trust".

passed away on Saturday, 4th September, 2010, in hospital
at Leeds.

Charles WILGOOSE, 92 years, former Sergeant in the Mounted Branch,
retired in 1973. Died one week go. Funeral is at 2.30p.m. Wednesday,
28th July, 2010, at Grenoside Crematorium
Kevin KENNEDY, 71 years, former Constable at CRO, Force H.Q. died
in the Northern General Hospital on Friday, 9th July, 2010. Funeral
arrangements will be provided in due course.

Terry Wroe died in Barnsley Hospice on 7th July 2010 after
an illness. He served in a number of Divisions including Barnsley
and Headquarters Training. At the time of his retirement Terry
was serving as a Detective Inspector.

at Barnsley, Hammerton Road and latterly,prior to his
retirement in January 2006, as Detective Inspector in charge
of Crime Training at HQ Training, will take place at 11.30am
on Friday 16th July 2010 at Barnsley Crematorium,
Ardsley, Barnsley.
Paul Cropley died with his family present at St John's Hospice
Doncaster on the evening of Monday 21st June 2010 following
an illness. At the time of his retirement Paul was serving as a
Chief Inspector.
