Branch Meetings are held quarterly in the Police Bar at Churchfield Police Station, Barnsley.

Members of the Branch in the main are retirees from Barnsley Borough Police, West Riding Constabulary, West Yorkshire Police and South Yorkshire Police.

Membership is around 250 including Life Members and Widows.

Details of social events are circulated by means of an annual bulletin.
