| | The dinner was held on Thursday 5th October, 2006 at Niagara with 125 Old Comrades attending. Charles Illingworth, in his hundredth year, was the guest of honour and gave a short account of his service. Of particular interest was hearing about his time with Sir Percy Sillitoe during the Sheffield Gang Wars. Sir Percy founded our Association in 1928. At the conclusion of his few words Charles received a standing ovation.
