AGM
Secretary's Report on the Meeting.
The Sheffield Branch AGM was held at Niagara Conference & Leisure
at 7.30 pm on Tuesday 7th April, 2009, it was immediately
followed by the AGM of the Old Comrades Association.
55 members attended the meetings which went very Well.
Don DENTON resigned as Chairman after 11 years.
Mick BROOKFIELD elected to replace him.
Jim FLETCHER elected Vice Chairman.
I agreed to continue for my 25 years as Secretary/Treasurer.
Dave SUMNER elected Assistant Secretary and Treasurer.
Janet CRUTTENDEN and Steve WALL resigned from the Committee.
John CHARLES not re-elected.
New members on the Executive Committee are:-
Eamonn LARKIN
John CLARK
Rick NAYLOR
Coach and Rail Trip to Whitby well received and no doubt that all
53 seats will be sold.
Comrades Dinner 8th October, 2009.
Sir Norman BETTISON, Chief Constable of West Yorkshire has
accepted our invitation to be a guest at the Old Comrades Dinner.
