About Us

NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF RETIRED POLICE OFFICERS
DONCASTER BRANCH

Our branch currently stands at around 400 members. Historically this branch had very strong roots in the Old Doncaster County Borough Police. Amalgamation in 1968 resulted in an influx of the old West Yorkshire/West Riding members working in Doncaster. We are now in a position where we now find ourselves receiving into our ranks newly retired members that started and finished with the South Yorkshire Police.

We are a very active & vibrant branch and we take much pride in the many outings and wide variety of Social Events organized throughout the year. In recent years we have begun our social calendar with a rock night featuring a live band, trips to Flower Shows, Race Meetings etc. The main event of the year culminating in the Christmas Dinner held on the first Friday of December.

May I on behalf of the committee of Doncaster Branch take this opportunity to give a warm welcome to old and new members alike. Please do get in touch with us & share good fellowship with old comrades.

Colin Naylor
Branch Secretary
